Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"After a sun-soaked day by the sea, we stopped by this beachfront spot to cool off and grab a bite. The location is fantastic—just steps from the sand, which really adds to the laid-back, summery atmosphere. The service was average—not bad, but nothing that stood out. The food was solid with some tasty options, and the highlight for us was definitely the ice cream. Creamy, flavorful, and the perfect treat on a hot day. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and appreciated the setting. While it was a good experience, we’d likely opt to try somewhere new next time—there’s just so much to explore around here!"
"We had a fabulous time at Las Palmeras, Roses. A wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by with a cool drink right by the sea. We loved it so much we had dinner here too. We didn't book ahead but they squeezed us in. The croquetas are excellent, as are the green peppers and the 14.90 menu is delicious and great value. The fish is fresh and presented beautifully! The wine is good! The desserts excellent! Thank-you Las Palmeras team for looking after us so well"
"We visited Las Palmeras in Roses and had a fun evening focused on their cocktails. The place is very lively and loud, which is something to keep in mind, but the staff were friendly and attentive. We were especially impressed by the wide variety of non-alcoholic cocktails – they were really delicious! They also offer large cocktails for two, which are beautifully presented and brought to the table with a fiery show, making it a really cool experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a fun spot with amazing cocktails (especially non-alcoholic options) and don’t mind the noise, Las Palmeras is worth a visit."
"We got someone else's food. Paella with chicken and some fish, but it turned out to be seafood paella. I would never have ordered it myself. But since we'd already started, we devoured the whole thing. The table next to us had to wait a bit longer. They thought it was funny. Even though I'm not a fish lover, we enjoyed it with a nice glass of sangria. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it was very busy. You sometimes have to wait."
"we’ve popped in for a drink everyday but left it til our last evening to eat….. what a mistake - it was fabulous! service has always been great - but tonight they were stretched it was so busy all evening. even the owner was clearing tables! The Suquet was sublime - seafood cooked perfectly Thank you Las Palmeras"
"Tapas are very good. Main courses are just okay. Service was bad. It was hard to order something and we had to make of us aware every time we went there. They never came on their own and asked. Location was great."
"I was with my boyfriend, we went to 4 restaurants before, and I have to say, this one won the “competition”! The staff is polite, the service is amazing (less than 5min to receive your order) and everything tasted good! We strongly recommend!"
"The restaurent is in 2 mins walking distance to our campsite, right next to a beach walkway. Very friendly staff and multi-language speaking. We tried their fideuá catalana (Catalan Pasta Paella) which have to order for 2ppl (in other restaurants too), it’s very tasty, especially the crispy bites! The dessert, Crema catalana was good as well, especially the crunchy sugar on the top!"
